End is child-safe and lead free. All wood is completely sanded and protected with a clean smooth coating to prevent cracks and splinters. Levelheaded Brazilian Pine – no particle board. Ladder rungs are flat (not vertical) for added comfort for your child’s feet and can be either attached permanently with screws or “hooked” on and off.
